It is non-flammable and has stable property in normal temperature. In neutral or slightly alkaline state, it can be synthesized with formaldehyde to form various methylol melamines, but in subacidity (pH value 5.5-6.5), it can have polycondensation with the methylol derivatives to generate resin products. In case of strong acid or strong alkaline water solution, it can be hydrolyzed, the amino group is generally replaced by hydroxyl group to first ammeline first, and then it is further hydrolyzed to generate ammelide, and finally generate cyanuric acid.
It can have condensation polymerization reaction with formaldehyde to generate melamine resin and can be used for the plastic and coating industry, and also can be used as the textile anti-folding and anti-shrinkage treating agent. Package, storage and transportation
It can be packed with polypropylene weaving bag, lined with polyethylene inner bag; and also can be packed with polypropylene weaving bag, with external coating of polypropylene. The package should be complete and the loading should be proper. During transportation, ensure that the container will not have leakage, not collapse, fall and be damaged. It is prohibited to mix with oxidant and acids. During transportation, prevent direct sunshine exposure, rain and high temperature.
